New Year

The holiday's seemed to pass by rather quickly this year. My mom was in Israel so my family didn't celebrate until New Year's Eve; however we still enjoyed the Christmas holiday. This time of year has always been one of my favorites because of all the joy, warm wishes, family, friends, and winter activities that can only be done during Christmas; such as: baking Christmas cookies and sweets, wrapping gifts, looking at Christmas Lights, decorating the house, etc

As for New Year's, I spent that with my best friend as usual. It is a blessing to be able to share these special holiday's together. I believe that bringing in the new year with friends and family near is a sure good sign of a wonderful year. I hope you also had the chance to be with your loved ones.
Although New Year's is a "fresh start", "new beginning", "clean slate" or "time for change", I've never been one to make a New Year Resolution. It has never made sense to me why people wait to change something until the New Year. I believe if we don't like something we can change it ANY day and MAKE.IT.HAPPEN. Why wait on something you care about?

My break from school has been pretty nice. I spent many days with my cousins and niece which made it that much more enjoyable. So many memories were formed and relationships were strengthened. I also had the opportunity to catch up with old high school friends, which is ALWAYS comforting!! I have definitely enjoyed break but am ready for what this next semester has in store for me.

love the life you live.
Dream Big
